Digital Learning Day Plans
(In case of an emergency bad weather day)
In order to be prepared for any inclement weather day (snow day) that might happen this year, each school has prepared a Digital Learning Plan. Our teachers have created Digital Learning Day Plans for each grade level. Your child’s teacher will be sending that plan home to you on Thursday. It will also be posted on our website and on each teacher’s Weebly. In the event of a snow day, your child will complete the assignments. If we know in advance that we will be out for a day due to weather, we will add some additional items that directly relate to the standards that your child is currently going to be taught that week. The plan that you will be receiving on Thursday is more of an “emergency plan” in case inclement weather happens suddenly. Students will have up to five days to complete the work upon returning to school. Completing the digital learning day content will allow your children to not miss a day of learning (and not have to make it up either!). I suggest you keep the hard copy in a safe place or download the plan before we have bad weather- which could be at any time knowing Atlanta!
If you have any questions about the plan, please reach out to your child’s teacher.
Thank you
Lisa Nash, Principal
